At a panel discussion, the ambassador joined Ed Russo, environmental advisor to President Trump; Rodrigo Veloso, CEO of O.N.E. Natural Energy; and Emily Weeks, a leading representative from USAID. Together, they explored solutions to critical sustainability challenges, focusing on Amazonian conservation and integrating sustainable economic models with environmental preservation.
At the Amazon Symposium, hosted by the Nobel Sustainability Trust, discussions centred on leveraging international partnerships, promoting ecotourism, and advancing regenerative agriculture to align economic growth with environmental integrity.
