Washington (Dec. 19/19). The Colombian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Claudia Blum de Barberi, met today with the U.S. Representative Albio Sires (D-NJ).
The Foreign Minister discussed with the Democratic U.S. lawmaker the progress the Colombian Government continues to make in the fight against drugs; the political situation in Venezuela; and how Colombia is supporting the refugees fleeing the oppressive Maduro regime.
Foreign Minister Blum also described how Colombia is advancing the implementation of the 'Peace with Legality' strategy and the efforts of President Iván Duque to provide protection guarantees for human rights defenders, social leaders and journalists
