Ambassador Daniel García-Peña led a high-level, bipartisan agenda in Congress

The Ambassador engaged in key discussions on international trade, migration, and regional security, areas of mutual interest where both nations have long cooperated closely. 

During his meeting with Senator Tom Carper (D-DE), Chairman of the Senate Subcommittee on International Trade, Customs, and Global Competitiveness, the Ambassador addressed key issues on trade. The session reaffirmed Colombia's commitment to broadening economic ties with the U.S.


Ambassador García-Peña met with Senator Katie Britt (R-AL), Vice Chair of the Senate Subcommittee on Homeland Security, to discuss our shared efforts on regional migration.
