This meeting focused on addressing the portfolio of consular services to meet the evolving needs of Colombian nationals in the United States. During the session, discussions covered various aspects of consular management, including administrative procedures, assistance to nationals, and migration issues. The consulates’ responses to new migration trends were also evaluated through initiatives like the "Colombia Nos Une" programme.

Additionally, efforts were made to coordinate actions to ensure consular services not only address the needs of Colombian citizens in the United States but also comprehensively promote and protect their rights and welfare.

The meeting provided an opportunity for the Embassy and Consulates to assess current challenges and strategize on solutions, ensuring that consular services remain efficient and of high quality. Collaboration between the Embassy and the Consulates is essential to guarantee the representation of the Colombian state and the well-being of our nationals in the United States.
