State Department official visited the Venezuelans in CĂșcuta

Keith Mines, director of Andean Affairs of the US Department of State, visited the Transitional Migrant Attention Center of the Red Cross in Cúcuta to verify the situation of Venezuelan migrants.
"Keith Mines, in the company of the director of Borders, Victor Bautista, visited the Migrant Transitional Attention Center operated by the Red Cross. This place has hosted more than 5,000 people since its opening, "said the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Carlos Holmes Trujillo.
During the visit of Mines to the Center of Attention, the official talked with the Venezuelans who are in the place.
The US director also went to the community dining Divina Providencia, where they offer daily lunches to Venezuelan migrants.
The former US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley visited Venezuela border last August and announced $9 million in humanitarian aid.
