The Embassy of Colombia in Washington D.C. represents the Government of Colombia in the United States and promotes the friendly relationship between the two Nations. Understanding that US politics is a constructive process where voices from different sectors of society have a say, the Embassy promotes a constant dialogue with Congress Representatives, NGO’s,Think Tanks, Universities and Embassies among others. From this exercise of on-going communication, several projects, initiatives and policies have been shaped which have benefited both countries and the region.
But the Embassy isn’t solely about politics. Through cultural activities the Embassy shares with the DC community the proud heritage of our country and allows visitors to experience a piece of Colombia in the political capital of the world.
